Probably the best thing I've done to SH4

I've disliked the keyboard locations for the Attack Scope Up & Down, and Observation Scope Up & Down (ins, del, pg up, pg dn) ever since SH3 in 2005.

I finally got around to moving these commands to the A & Z keys for attack and the S & X keys for observation with the associated Control function to fully raise & fully lower.

With the mouse in my right hand, I use the left hand for keystroke commands 95% of the time. Having the scope controlled by my left hand on the left side of the keyboard is a blessing. It just works better. Obviously, I switched previous A,Z,S,X commands to other keys. I've made my own unique keyboard print out since I've made so many keyboard edits.

I'm so pleased, I just felt like sharing this experience.

Nice

Have you ever used or thought about using something like this? I have mapped my periscope controls to the thumb stick, it's great. This one is a Razor Tartarus.

I have also built me a controller for the torpedo, and speed controls which i love.

How does one go about building a custom controller like that?

Here is the product page for it, but you should be able to find it cheaper if you shop around. https://www.razer.com/sg-en/gaming-k...razer-tartarus

This particular one doesn't.

I used a Leo Bodnar BBI-32 board for the one in the picture, but my current project will be using a ATmega32U4 Module Board. I'm still working out details, but i can create a thread with some pictures once i start on it.
