For how long do you keep Christmas?

Bearing in mind that some folks are compelled to return to work sooner than they'd like, for those of you who are able to stay indoors and decide when your Christmas ends, when does it end for you? In Bollock-Acher Wood We keep the full 12 days (counting from the 25th) and we have another big nut roast on Twelfth Night |
Ours usually ends on New Years Day night.
|
We close down the day after the whack-a-squirrel winner is announced.

Aktung's epiphany: go Gregorian, not Julian, calendarwise!
Well the lights and decor generally stay up till Epiphany which is traditionally Jan. 6... but may also be the first Sunday following Jan 1; unless of course there's a great amount of holiday cheer left over; in which case, the old Eastern Orthodox Gregorian calendar kicks in...and we go till the 19th!:Kaleun_Cheers:

Ours ends the day after when we have to clean up the mess!!

We go till the 19th of January with regards to holiday decorations.
Work generally commences January 2nd. Most people I know take time off to be with their families. School usually goes back January 2nd as well. I hope everyone Has a happy and safe New years over the next couple of days and enjoys good fortune in the upcoming year including happiness and good health. |
Christmas never stops....
Usually to January sixth, or so... |
