Failed LANDING_FORCE mission doesn't change campaign map

If you fail a LANDING_FORCE mission you get the splash screen showing an enemy invasion of eg Trondheim. But when you go back to the campaign map the invasion beach is still held by NATO

Any fix for this bug?
