RAOBF

Hi guys,

I've tried searching but coming up dry.

As the RAOBF in SH3 does not include the optic milliradians (like SH5), can it only be used to calculate speed?

Cheers

No, the mod providing the RAOBF should show it's own reticule to match the speed/size scale on the movable ring. That should effectively be a mili- or centi-radian scale. (I guess it depends on the mod, screen resolution and the zoom factors chosen for it.)

The RAOBF mods were first developed in SH3. Then were ported to SH4 and SH5. They work without limitations.

Interesting.

I'm using GWX 3.0 Gold and I just have the rings over the standard optic reticule.

I'll have to figure out what's gone wrong!

Thanks

Which mod did you apply? (links?)

I was using ARB WideGUI.

I've now decided to give NYGM a go, in the process of setting that up...

The following looks like the UZO and periscopes, even binoculars have a miliradian scale.

If yours didn't then it may not have been set up correctly or a mod applied later clashed with it.
