Log Book Date Issue?
I never noticed this before but my log book has the dates of all the ships I sunk.
Problem is, each sinking has the same date at the day I departed. Thats weird. Any fixes for that? |
The same problem recently cropped up after working properly for several years... looking forward to a solution...

I am by no means 100% certain on this, but if I am remembering correctly, what is displayed in the log book is based upon the patrol, so it uses that date. That is while on the submarine. But, if you look at them while in the Captain's Office in port, then they are displayed correctly, grouped by patrol page. I am not at any of my SH4 computers to look though. I have probably already posted a link to this, but I would be remiss if I did not again point you at Kim Ronhof's SH4 Report generator, posted by aanker, who left us entirely too early for eternal patrol. It was written in the XP days, and assumes certain file and folder paths, so you have to kind of "babysit" it a bit, but it can be fun for some "immersion"... :salute:

Going strictly from memory, so caveat emptor, the issue arises whenever a save is introduced. Go through an entire patrol without restarting and it displays the correct dates of sinking.
