How to edit renown
 

So I wanted to smudge the numbers a bit and edit my renown. After google insisting "silent hunter 5 how to edit renown" meant "silent hunter 3 how to edit renown" got tiring, I decided to go and take a look in the SH5 folder in documents since it was a file there in Silent Hunter 3 that did it. There I found a file called CareerTrack.upc and inside was the line for current renown. changed it to 25000 as a test and it worked.

So in detail, to edit your renown in Silent Hunter 5 to go to your documents folder, then enter the folders in this order
SH5-->data-->cfg-->SaveGames-->(whatever save you want the renown in)-->CareerTrack.

Then hit Ctrl+F to search and search for the line "PlayerCurrentRenown="

Change the number to whatever you want and save the file.

Now when you load your save, your renown should be changed.

I wanted to make this in the hopes anyone looking how to do this finds it.
