Radio and Gramaphone Music
 

I have stocked my Gramaphone folder with LOTS of period songs, speeches and music and have downloaded almost everything from the SH3/SH5 Sound areas.

I also downloaded much of Bstanko6's music and use his final radio mod (thank you).

I have now started filling the different radio folders with what I thing are the right kind of songs for that radio channel. ie Washington, London, Paris, etc.

I found this site most useful and thought I would share it. I have tested the downloads and they work fine.

My question is, does anyone have a good link for German Military Marches and songs like Erika, etc to top up my German Radio station.

Again I have to thank the modders for saving this excellent game.

I got most of my stuff from YouTube. It's amazing the amount of media out there. If you are converting YouTube to MP3, just remember that you may need to up the decibels to hear it. I use Audacity, which is free.

I honestly recommend the link I put in. The files are all MP3 and require no work and download really fast.

Hi,Onkel Neal and everyone...I am new to SH 5 and have downloaded the "GROSSDEUTSCHER RUNDFUNK" sound mod and installed. I can't find how to play the GRAMOPHONE or the RADIO to play the music files! I've gone on U-TUBE for this question and
Icons from an "Officers menu" are being accessed there to use the Radio and Gramophone which I DO NOT HAVE! Will someone PLEASE let me know what other mods I need to download or give me information as to what to do about this problem...

Well for me with the Wolves of Steel mod which includes all the best mods, I just tell my radio operator to play the one I want and either a gramaphone or radio pops up. Their are also little icons that come in the Wolves of Steel mod and so I would recommend you install it.

Many, Many thanks for the info on the "Wolves of Steel" mod;

Downloaded and installed it and was also surprised that the crew speaks

German! I was born there and speak, read and write it fluently, so here's

an extra bonus that this mod has for its REALISM (the Hakenkreuz flags,eagles,etc...) Everything works, and then some...

Glad you got it going. It really improves the game. Once you are happy you should check out TWOS Option File Editor which allows you to do LOTS of tweaks to improve your game experience. It is easy to figure out, use and save.
