I once called my dad, and my step-mom said he was in the shower but he could talk anyway. I could here him shivering and kept saying "Dad, dry off, get dressed and call me back", and he kept saying "No, I'm alright". Over and over.

I hope that's not me in five years. Or next week.

I seldom attempt to learn how to understand the latest technology these days, my kids do it for me.

Every time I am feeling superior over someone not knowing about the technology I know about, I also think of the technology they remember that I don't know.



These old guys may not know about cell phone functions, but I bet they know a lot more than I do about fixing cars and furnaces. :up:

Knows more stuff than i will ever know at nearly 80 . Also knows what its like to be on action stations on a destroyer in the vietnam war .
