MOVE OVER Qué Será Será

IN THE NINETIES WHILE STILL APPRAISING SAN JOSÉ REAL ESTATE, AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A DAY-OFF FROM WORK PRESENTED ITSELF.:yeah: MY EMPLOYER, THE SON OF THE MAN, COL. BUDD PEASLEE WHO LEAD THE SCHWEINFURT RAID IN WWII AND WROTE ABOUT IT, WOULDNT BE ABLE TO RESIST A TOUR OF A B-17 G BOMBER ON A MULTISTATE TOUR PARKED AT SAN JOSÉS' MAIN AIRPORT ....AND SO IT PROVED. HE GLEEFULLY ACCOMPANIED ME AND HAPPILY DONATED THE ROYALTIES OF HIS FATHER'S OWN BOOKhttps://384thbombgroup.com/pics/miscellaneous/valor.jpg TO THE GROUP SPONSORING THE PLANE: http://airportjournals.com/wp-conten.../0807039_2.jpgTHAT'S ACTUALLY BETTY GRABLE; BUT IT'S DORIS DAY'S #1 HIT (1944) WWII ANTHEM: 'SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY' THE PLANE IS NAMED FOR! BUT THEN... PERHAPS I'M THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH:O: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-doyDBpkvw https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...al_Journey.jpg

We've an expression in the UK when someone, usually a female, sings in the powerful way she did: we'd say she really "belts 'em out"

Plus reminds me of the loss of James Garner that played in some of her movies

Ah 1945, when twenty year olds were grown ups. I'm not sure I'm a grown up yet, and I'm 54. :hmmm: I think we've devolved.

Makes me really sad that very soon they'll all RIP. At least they'll have good tunes and good company wherever they are.
