Let me start by telling a little about myself and playing games.

I'm from the stone age I prefer my games on Disc/DVD
I don't like to download games through sites like STEAM

Well I could take this under consideration IF

Someone created human controlled surface ship

So we again could, like in the good old days, play warship against subs.

I can't get it right...getting my ideas or thought down in writing.

I'll give it a try anyway

Today a player who plays Cold Waters only see the sub from outside and have all the information in the bottom right corner.

The same should a player who is controlling a frigate see, except in his view he or she see things that is on a frigate
(Here I'm thinking of the things you have on the frigate in Dangerous Waters)

I'm pretty sure...no I know for sure if somebody did create this and they created some or lots of mp-mission this game would be even more popular.
