WAC 5.2 & Mods
I've decided to try out WAC 5.2 again (during my first run, I encountered the odd Pride Parade effect reported by Fifi ((http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=239651)) but it seems to be gone now after reinstallation) and I had a few questions about mods and/or compatibility (mostly in relation to SH3Cmdr).
I see that WAC has a ton (tonne?) of mods integrated and the ships and uboats look really impressive. Would I be correct in assuming that the uboat models are from the uBoats Compilation? If so, are they still compatible with the date-based skins used through SH3Cmdr? The merchant ships don't look like part of the Merchant Fleet Mod so I'm guessing they're not compatible with the MFM skins pack for use by SH3Cmdr's data function...? Finally, if one selects the option for "Use Real Ship Names" in SH3Cmdr, does that option work with the ships (merchant and otherwise) in WAC 5.2? I'm sure I'll have other questions as I continue to patrol with WAC but for now, let's leave it here. |
