I did some exhaustive and extensive research and discovered that Catfish is really a Jewish Cowboy named Bucky Goldstein and working on a ranch in Texas and married to a beautiful blonde haired Japanese woman. :D

I could be wrong though. :03:

Easy really, just use the simple rule of deduction, he's not black, nor is he a LEO, doesn't wear shades or a woolly hat....

It's nice to know others are familiar with the comedy of Steven Wright. :D This was part of his routine some years ago. Steven was funny. You're also right about the Chinese woman but I intentionally changed it.
