Wind power and battery storage fails in Australia.
 

We have some wind farms in Southern Alberta and I always wondered just how beneficial they really are. I've heard quite often that they aren't working out like they are supposed to in other locations. Here's a report from Australia that seems to confirm this:

The wind turbines are an eye sore and solar power plants with battery backup is a joke!! Lets face it, what happens on a calm night? where does the power come from? Batteries!! :oops:
If they want clean power they need nuclear power, but the stupid greenies are against it. What amazes me is that they dump other countries nuclear waste here!! :doh:
