Question about quick launch weapon and some other questions?

Hi all, I want to ask some questions
1. If I turn off the weapon quick launch, does it apply to the ai too (the ai has slow reload on weapon and cms too)?
2. In the quick mission there are two types of asw mission for subs (area search and barrier search) what is the pros and cons between those two types? I am mostly playing the barrier search.
3. Is it possible to install newest RA mod and switch it on/off to vanilla using JGSME? I want try the cool features of its torpedoes and some challenge, but sometimes i want (easier mode) playing the vanilla for relaxation.

Just my opinions, but..

1- Player options are for the player. Use the ones you want.

2- Treat the quick missions like an on-shore attack trainer. :yep: None of them are very accurate but they can be handy if you've become rusty with the basics.

3- JGSME and RA is something I would avoid. RA versions tend to be very complicated/complex. I don't know if this works with DW For Steam but if you have DW from Strategy First you can install multiple versions of DW (I have basic DW, five versions of RA, and LWAMI installed as separate games). If I want to change the version of the game, there's a program in the Strat First version called LaunchDW.exe that configures Windows and the DW launch icon on my taskbar to load the version I want. i just run LaunchDW from the install I want to play and everything gets updated. :yeah:
While this isn't the most efficient use of disk space, it works just fine.
