TWOS Is TOO real.
 

Got the game after forgetting it for 10 years or so. Then got the TWOS mod. Installed, and then after 3 days. Had to uninstall/reinstall game to figure some things out. Since I have the kid installer on my desktop, can I just download mods and install them. Boot the program. And go? Or do I have to install the TWOS again?

Reason being.
I like the vanilla game
But I want better visuals, less bugs, etc. But I DONT want the ridiculously hard realism

Is this possible?

Open JSGME from your main game folder if you are not showing a desk top shortcut and see if it opens to show the TWoS mods.
Make sure your game is updated to v1.2

Make sure you have installed the Generic Patcher and restored the gps snapshot file.
You need to setup the Options File Editor Viewer and change the patches to suit your game play.
Important that you untick the manual targeting patch if you want to play Auto TDC.

Not a problem as you can TWoS at any difficulty level.
Start a new career.
Start the game.
When the game loads to the desk top use the Esc key.
From the main menu select Options.
Select Game Play Settings and tick or untick any boxes to suit your game play.
Apply the changes and go back to the main menu.
Select Save Game and make a manual save.
Go back to the main menu.
Select Load Game and the save you made and you are ready to select your mission and start the game.
Do not upgrade your boat until you get to Kiel.
