Bug? Please help
https://youtu.be/SL13cmsIQpU
This bug makes progress in game impossible. Please help? The video above was made at the request of Ubisoft Support. They wanted a video of the issue I have with this bug. Since this game is not exactly new and I am new to the game, and I have some experience dealing with other games and their support teams, I thought maybe in community forums such as this one, there might be users that are just more savvy than the support system operators. So if there is someone out there who knows what to do, it would be greatly appreciated. F. |

Hi FI
It is a known fact that the progress bar and campaign icons are broken in SH5 which is why these useless functions have been removed in the TWoS mega mod. The reason why it is broken is because Ubisoft passed over the game launcher to Uplay a few years ago and ever since the game has never worked correctly. Another fact is that not all ships that are sunk count anyway. Each of the campaign missions has a list of ships which count towards completing each mission. You will notice if you complete the tutorial and sink the ships your campaign icon updates as shown in your picture. My advice is to check this out and save yourself a load of hassle. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=210703 Ubisoft are basically selling a game which is not fit for purpose as it is faulty as soon as it is installed. Why they need to have Uplay involved with a game which is over 10 years makes no sense at all. Peter |
Derp... Only reading it now...
Dankeshön herr Kaleun!
I was busy trying to play the vanilla version, so I could marvel at what the modding community made of it. Though my workaround (bug present is the camouflage is not displayed) only works if you don't save during the actual patrol. In short: the vanilla version sux. And sux *ss. Badly. So now I'm downloading Wolves of Steel 2.2. From what I've been able to see in the vid, I marvel at the sound they've replaced the launching of a torp with. F |
