Add-ons without the U Boats?
 

I guess it's just me and I know it's just a game, but I have no interest in playing on the German side.
I would however, like to get the improvements in many of the MODS though. Is it possible to get the improvements, additional missions and the like without the U-Boat part?

My first guess is no, you can't..
BUT, you don't have to play the German side, that's totally optional.

you cant, the u-boat expansion isnt really about adding u-boats as evidenced by them not even having u-boat missions in it lol

get the u-boat expansion because it changes the game engine to work better and fixes many bugs and glitches with the game

then add my gfo mod which fixes even more bugs and adds many missions for the german side, trust me, its well worth buying the u-boat expansion even if you, like most of us, never play the german side

also, as you have noticed, 90% of all mods made need v1.5 to run them
