No IWO speech
Sorry for creating a new thread but I have found no answer to my problem.
Running LSH3 V2015 with DBSM and TorpedoTubesFfireFinal vStock I can see the lips of the IWO move but I can not hear anything in German language. When I turn voices in English the problem restores itself. There is no problem with the other officers. I can hear the LI or anyone else. I can also hear the "torpedo los" and the cheering of the crew when a torpedo hits. It is really annoying because when running in 128TC and a plane or ship is spotted I have no audio alert. I have already tried to apply settings and starting a new career or even reinstalling the whole thing but no result. Thanks in advance for any help. |
Hi VH
Check that the speech files are working in each of the folder numbers. In the main game folder go to data\sound speech There are 9 folders https://s15.postimg.cc/k3g7t1hgb/1_folders.jpg Each folder contains 1,101 speech files. You need to check the files you think are not working. Each file is easily identifiable. https://s15.postimg.cc/hyvurziej/2_s...files_1101.jpg You will need a program to open them so you can here the sound if it does not give you the sound straight away. https://s15.postimg.cc/xddfewv1n/cap...018_130238.jpg The main LSH3 mod also contains the same number of folders 9 https://s15.postimg.cc/4uqafcg2z/3_Main_mod.jpg Each of these folders only contains 3 sound files. https://s15.postimg.cc/ockxvbfln/4_M...ch_files_3.jpg Peter |

Problem solved.
It looked like that the necessary audio files for the IWO were missing. I took them from Thomsen's Sound Pack V3.2cg copied them to all 9 folders of the Speech files and now I can hear the IWO. Thank you for your assistance.:Kaleun_Salute: And now I am off to enjoy a new patrol. |
