SH5 Modding
 

Hey guys, what mods should I use to get the best out of SH5? I'm new to the forum and to the game :) also how do I install the mods?

IMO, the TWoS megamod is the best, you will get a free roam campaign, close to the stock game but much more mission types and extended campaign until 1945. A lot of realism features added and a much improved GUI and crew handling.

You have to follow exactly the install instructions and make sure you install the game in a non-protected folder, e.g. in C:\games\SH5.
SH5 with TWoS is not easy to play, get prepared to watch a lot of tutorial videos and a lot of docs to be read to make use of all the features, there is no 'overall' manual for TWoS...


Then there is Sober's megamod whith a different campaign system.
