Bank grade security - please not

"When companies say they have "Bank Grade Security" they imply that it is a good thing.
In reality banks have poor security."

"My" bank was not the worst but it has some way to go before it's in the green...

My one is near the top but I do not trust them at all. I don't trust any bank, just go though their rubbish bags and gold dust is up for grabs.

Banks. Avoid them where you can. Its forged money in this era now. Do you think banks get miraculously enobled by this fact?

I would say it's a good thing I bank with Wells Fargo ... but then there's that little bit of trouble they got themselves into recently. Unfortunately, I know first hand about what they were doing. :/ I did sign up for the class action lawsuit and am currently awaiting my millions in restitution.

Funny thing is, I never chose Wells Fargo as my bank. In 1988 I opened an account at a bank called Signet. Some years later, they were bought by another bank called First Union. Then, First Union was sold to Wachovia, which was later purchased by Wells Fargo. So, I've had the same account for thirty years ... at four different banks. :hmmm:

Same here. I was with a bank called the Walker Bank, founded in the 1880s by Joseph Walker, the banker for pretty much all the Park City mining concerns. Sometime in the 1980s they were bought out by Wells Fargo and things went downhill fairly quickly. Fees suddenly popping up when I was close to the line, causing unexpected overdrafts, and a lot of other things like that. Today I "bank" with a local Credit Union, who gave me an extensive line of credit to cover any overdrafts without the hefty fees. I don't know how secure they are, but I've been happy so far.
