As my wife and step daughter and i drove to a nearby town for dinner, we came upon traffic in the opposing lane with people standing by while a police officer and an off duty nurse administered CPR to a woman lying in the street.
in the grassy median was a Harley Davidson type motorcycle in a twisted mangled mess. she was pronounced dead at the scene. apparently she was the passenger on the motorcycle, the driver survived. He was running from the police after an attempted stop for speeding. he had warrants for his arrest in two cities and a laundry list of other charges... to which murder has been now added. his girlfriend (i assume) is dead because he chose to break the law. i dont care if he broke all of those laws for the most noble of reasons, he broke them. and his choice to run killed that woman and endangered the general public. i dont care how noble the reasons for sneaking into a country are... the law was broken... they chose to break the law, they chose to run, they selected door number two and paid the ultimate price. stop breaking the law |
And new york times... god love em
"Unauthorized Immigrants" shying away from that word "Illegal" |

Nailed it! :Kaleun_Salute:
I also take real issue with the way the "zero tolerance" policy is being characterized in the media...that now it's all about how mean it is to the kids when the EXACT SAME SEPARATION POLICY was in place under numerous previous administrations, they just chose NOT to enforce the law that says it's a violation of Federal law to cross into the country illegally. |
