Prior to this I knew next to nothing about either of them or the wedding. I too wish them the best in life, they seem like a good couple and very comfortable with each other. |
I am fed up with it already.

So, then, I take it you're not a Tory?...
<O> |
Admittedly, I am not caught up at all in the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. I was however, always impressed with Prince Harry and his military service. Prince Harry had served with the British Army in Helmand, Afghanistan.
Quote: Prince Harry served for four months in Afghanistan, before his presence there became too widely known, according to CNN. He reportedly received the Operational Service Medal for his service in Afghanistan, before qualifying as an Apache helicopter pilot. Prince Harry was even promoted to the rank of captain, and eventually, he returned to Afghanistan in 2012 on a 20-week deployment. https://www.romper.com/p/what-did-pr...h-army-8030729 Further, Prince Harry in 2015, left the military. Before he left, he started pursuing work to help injured servicemen and women find new jobs, a cause that he continues to advocate for in civilian life. Quote : It appears that, while Prince Harry served with a regiment in the army and acted as a pilot during his military service period, he also gained valuable insight into the lives of wounded veterans during that time. For many reasons, Prince Harry's military experience seems important to him, and it clearly informs the service work he still carries out today. https://www.romper.com/p/what-did-pr...h-army-8030729 It always seemed that Harry was more interested in people and their well being and welfare, much like his mother. For that reason and more, I wish Prince Harry and his new bride all the best now and in the coming years in all that they do. |
Coverage starts tomorrow on ABC GMA with Micheal Strahan going over for the news team. I was against watching it, but I guess it's better than watching a golf match or a tractor pull on Saturday.
It really is a match made in heaven Cinderella story, poor girl, rich prince fall in love and marry. I hope it last ... by the way when was the last time there was a change up in the Royal castle in England? The present Qeen's story is all I know :yep: |

Meghan clearly putting money first over her father, she should be with him. |

Well, one thing for sure, she's not hurting financially:
Okay, So Meghan Markle's Net Worth Is Massive -- https://www.cosmopolitan.com/enterta...kle-net-worth/ What is Meghan Markle's net worth and how much did she earn on Suits? -- https://us.hellomagazine.com/royalty...-suits-salary/ BTW, almost all lead or featured actors in TV series are guaranteed by union regulations payment for reruns or broadcast of a show's episodes, known as "residuals"; these can be extremely lucrative if an actor has the good luck to be on a hit show since those shows tend to live on long after cancellation in syndication or, now, streaming. The TV show Friends is sort of the high mark for residual earnings since it is still very popular in reruns, earning, as a show, about USD$1 Billion each year; the stars of the show are known to have negotiated a very advantageous residual agreement when they had the network and the producers over a barrel to renew their contract... <O> |
I wish them luck.
Not sure I would call it the wedding of the century though. |
