Wolves of Steel
Is the WoS expansion pack the full Mod as it doesn't show up in JSGME, there are only about 20 add-on mods in the folder none of them titled WoS as I have seen before.
The Option File Editor Viewer runs automatically and shows 9 folders that can be edited. What I am after is to have the officers icons and to be able to teleport as I used to before reinstalling the game, also to have the dials for navigation (turning the boat). I hope that makes sense |
The .exe installs the main mod automatically. No more having to use JSGME to install it. :Kaleun_Salute:

Thanks, I found that out after much reading, I only need to get my officer icons and navigation dials now. I can't get either of them to show
Do we still get a Ship recognition book, if we do where is it, it isn't on a tab around the sides. |

Thank you all for the help.:Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:
I reinstalled the game then went into the updater then GNU (I think) I have gone even more brain dead than usual after two days trying to get it the way I want. |

What I meant is that after two days I have finally got the game running as I want, so all is good. That post was to thank you all for replying. |
WoS and my Steam SH5
So, purchased a Steam copy that is patched to 1.2.0 already. Have the megamod, but my install is NOT the same path same indicated for a typical install. Mine is not under the C:\Ubisoft\SH5, but is in fact under C:/Windows\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft. I have no directory for SH5 but a directory called Ubisoft Game Launcher.
What do I need to do to get WoS working properly there? I tried putting the WoS under the Game Launcher directory, but it is clearly still just running Vanilla SH5. Thank for any help in advance. James |

The Path to Steam version of SH5 should be the same as most Steam games C: / Program files x86 /Steam / Steam Apps /Common /Silent Hunter 5 or just Right Click on the SH5.exe and find open file location |

Your SH5 game install should never be installed here. Preferably your game should not be installed in the Program files (x86) directory as it has restrictions that can affect your game notably when changes are made in JSGME with a Steam download. Peter |
