It may of been a better idea to not continue making the post after realizing the error. It would of been better to wait until you did something Spectacularly Dumb rather than the run of the mill plain Stupid but it could backfire in making anyone take you seriously

Well I have made spectacular dumb mistakes most of us have in the game like crashing your sub submerged at full speed on land which makes the sub do all kind of acrobatics deep inland.

Like in that video of it on youtube.

And about humor / being a comedian...

Have you ever seen any German U boat commander cracking a successful joke ? Don't mention ze war!
