Allowing monopolies to form up, will always lead to abuse, and less service for higher prices.

Think twice before not forming a stand on net neutrality. Think twice before allowing credit card companies to dictate you the fees - by making plastic card payment without alternatives. Think twice before depending completely on American chip makers like AMD and Intel. Think twice before always defending, excusing, supporting microsoft. Think twic ebefore headlessly supporting Facebook. (...)

Think twice.

Think twice.

Capitalism always leads to monopolies and abuse after some time. The richer companies can undercut newcomers or less aggressive ones, and buy them out in the end. Unless you regulate, but then the government is being blamed for everything of course :03:

On topic: Add Samsung TVs, Alexa, Siri, Cortana etc. eavesdropping on you.
Regarding Facebook, imagine what the NSA et al spare, when all the people publish voluntarily what they have done, do now, and will be doing! Win-win! :yeah:

Off topic again: If not Intel or AMD, what dou you propose? Robotron? :)

(Nevermind, good post)

Because it is exponentially more expensive to build a factory that produces CPUs at a new technological standard, and because the consumer market is defined by those - Intell and AMD became natural monopolies.
