Finally! Some cold weather

Man, the long hot summer is over, we finally got some nice chilly weather. Dragging out the winter clothes, hot cocoa, and a backlog of movies all weekend.:Kaleun_Salivating:

The weather guessers are saying we might see some snow here the end of next week. It won't last long if we do get some, as it will be too warm to stick around for long.

We pretty much didn't have a summer in Germany this year.:(

I think we had yours too. It was day after day of 97~100 (38C) from the middle of May until late Sept. Usually at 80%+ humidity. Except during the hurricane, then it was 10,000% humidity for a few weeks :k_confused:

In April I was look forward to a hot summer day, but not 100 of them. By July 20th or so I'm ready for autumn, but have to wait 3 more months. :wah:

This morning it is 44 (7) and that's really nice!

We do not have winters in the south of the UK any more we have extended mild Autumn running into mild Spring. What's that white stuff called again?

Platapus 10-28-17 10:25 AM

I, for one, am done with summer. Summers in North Virginia are humid and nasty.

Bring on the winter. You can always wear more clothes in the winter, but there are limitation on what you can take off in the summer.

Believe me, you do not want to see me in a speedo. It makes dogs cringe and children cry. :D

One winter a co-worker was complaining about the cold. He said "Man, I wish it was eighty out right now!"

I replied "Just give it six months. Then you'll be saying 'Man, I wish it was eighty out right now'".

Can't complain about the poor weather we had this summer in the UK but last week I did enjoy the Canaries which was averaging 32-38C :sunny:
