WoS and TC
Hello, I am currently playing with WoS.
I love long patrols, and use the TC up to x8 or x16. I am afk often and rely on the screams of my watch officer to avoid the damned planes and it is vital for me to return to TC1 in order to survive. More than once in my current patrol I’ve been shot and couldn’t react on time. I noticed that this only works with planes at x64 or x128 which is too fast for me. Is there any way I can change that so when my WO sees an aircraft the TC will return to x1? Currently I put the option that enables TC1 when there is any message, but I do not find this work around entirely satisfactory. Thanks! |
Activate "Disable TCx on message box messages" then TC will return to 1 if a new enemy is visible/sighted (by the watch crew) or also recognized by Benno (Sound Guy) when submerged.:salute:

Thanks! That's what I was looking for... if I change the value to "0" my WO seeing an enemy aircraft will pause the game?

I was attacked by an airplane at TC8 (TWoS 2,09) and the game did not return to TC1... that's wht I enabled TC1 when receiving any message in the messagebox). I will doublecheck that anyway.

But anyway my method still works in game too, or!? ( Activate "Disable TCx on message box messages" then TC will return to 1 if a new enemy is visible/sighted (by the watch crew) |
Excel4004, as far as I know, if your method is clicking the icon in the top right corner of the screen, it will enable TC1 when ANY message goes to the messagebox, not only an enemy...

Tested now for a while, works perfectly against approaching planes or any kind of new ships:
