New Guy!
Hi, all!
I've been a subsim fan since the late-1990s, when one of the first PC games I played was Red Storm Rising. I've had many since then, including Silent Service II, 688 Attack Sub, 688i, SSN-21 Seawolf, Fast Attack, Tom Clancy's SSN, Sub Command, and Dangerous Waters.
A few years ago, when I was traveling overseas for work regularly, I would play Red Storm Rising using DOSBox on my laptop for hours, and the flights went by in a flash! Still my favorite game.
Until now, anyway. Cold Waters has sucked me in and I can't stop playing. The true spiritual successor to RSR, and I can't wait for future DLC. The user-generated mods are fantastic as well.
