Arkangelesk TLAM bug

In the Arkhangelsk TLAM mission the TLAM always hits the ground. In the pics it's the second hill it's trying to cross, but runs aground every time.

I'm playing the 2004 Nato campaign. Is that where the bug is?

And yes I shot at the red circle every time. lol

I'm sure it's going for the Eastern red icon. See the pics below

Thanks for checking on this!

Had the same thing happen to me when I visited Arkangel, still gave me the mission complete screen though so I didn't think on it too much

Using 1.07c vanilla -- same bug on Arkhangelsk and Mourmansk and also with 1.07 and "russian subs" or "North Atlantic 2004" .

It would be easy if they had the missile altitude in the default folder, but I don't see it. It may be hardcoded in the game. It only needs to come up about 20 meters.:hmmm:

default/weapons.txt

In the TLAM section:
CruiseAltitude=300

Try 400 - 600 and see how it goes. Too high and the missile may have issues diving down at the target when terminal homing.

Thanks!!

I'm trying 400 to start!

I'll report back
