Real navigation

Im back to SH since years of absence and Im impressed how the community improved the game. For now I did a clean install of vanillia SH5 with the patch to 1.2 and installed TWos 2.5 and Im happy with this.
The only challenge I had to deal with is the real navigation mode. I searched the forums how to disable it but didnt find a how to. So I want to ask you for help disabling real navigatio.

Disable the Real Navigation mod from JSGME.
Yes, its that easy.

please be patient with me ;-) how can I return to plot and follow the course like in stock game? Thx in advance

Press M for map (in game) and then click on your submarine en then can you plot a course :03:

Hi Michael
You can set up lot of other things in TDW's Options File Editor Viewer.
You can set it up internally from TWOS see the installation instructions document here at C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hhunter 5\data\Applications\OptionsFileEditorViewer.

Alternatively you can set it up as a stand alone version here.

Brand new to SH5

I recently bought SH5 (steam version) and installed TWOS mod. I tried doing this method of turning off REAL NAVIGATION but it in mod program window it wasn't enabled (was on the left side of the screen saying disabled)

I just want easier plotting on the navigation map to play the game like i did with SH3.

Also a way to disable the German text for the uboat information screens?

Would i be able to manually delete the files from the game root directory of these mods? Probably not a good idea but just wondering if i can disable them this way.

even without Real Navigation TWoS is a lot more difficult than the stock game. To play on an easier level, go look at my modlist here for patching the stock v.1.2.0:

You will see: the gameplay is much simpler, however you need to introduce yourself to the NewUIs for which there are a couple of good videos on the net.
