message board disappearing
Hello everyone. Been a SH player since SH3 and was in the forums for a short while but lost my account (a shame I hate the picture of the bilge rat!).
Just two questions... October 1939. In my current patrol (everything is running smoothly with WoS installed following the instructions), I had a minor drawback. The message board (right down corner of the screen), just disappeared. It only shows up again at TC32, anything less and it hides again. I saved and reloaded but to no avail. I tried to find the answer before in the forums but didn't find it. Anyone knows how can I get it back? And another question... after a good patrol (sunk a Dale Class Oiler for 17.000t, the Rawalpindi for 16.000 t), I followed two contacts and forgot to check the flags (they were following the english coast). I sunk one of them for 8.000t, but found out too late they were flying the USSR flag (oops). When it went down I intercepeted a SSS message from the merchant "Exeter" detailing it had sustained massive damage and was going down at my coordinates. The message obviously aroused my suspitions... I checked in the file to see if by any chance they were fake merchants, and found out that the one I sunk was "side=1", was it a fake merchant? The sunk icon ship is red, but the label says its neutral... I fear the fuhrer wrath... Thanks! |
