Assistance tracking contacts

Couple of minor things that might be intended but they're sort of annoying.

Can't remember the number of times I forget to look at the bearing of the first contact in the summary/loadout screen before a campaign video and then have to blindly stumble around trying to find the right direction to head. Would be nice if you could press a key and view that screen again or if it put a "???" or something on the map. Yeah I know... it's my fault for not paying attention but that's what the XO is for :)

Likewise it'd be nice if I didn't have to be looking at my minimap at the exact second to catch a single ping of active from a target to get a bearing. My sonar operator must be visiting the head every time it happens.

yes an orders screen hotkey would be fantastic

as would be a message history key, as well as audible warning of enemy active bearings

That darn XO. His fitness report will reflect.

In other thoughts. I BARELY hear the ping of other subs. I may catch it in the tactical window that is down in the corner because I operate in camera view. But, it would be nice if somebody on the bridge said their was a ping and at what bearing. If I want to do a snapshot on it, I have to wait and watch the TacMap to see where the next ping comes from. Somebody D**m well better sound off.

I think I do turn the music down, but I hear events clearly otherwise, just except the enemy pings. If we go to Scotland, can we switch out the sonar guy?

I hope nobody on the bridge is telling you anything - they'd be busy drowning. :) Remember - on a Sub, the bridge is only manned while on the surface. I think you meant Control instead.

Seriously, I agree with the message list. Even apart from the list of bearings and such for the initial contact, keeping up with other messages that come in while I'm busy steering the boat for the OOD, DIVE, and Helmsman/Planesman can be... challenging. The ability to go back through the list would be invaluable.
