Twos proplem, ctd

Hi,
With the previous version of Twos (2.00) I had no problem.
With 2.0.3 I can go to the menu but not start the campaign or the single mission, at the end i have a ctd.
I have windows 10 at 64 bit, do you have any ideas?

(I did clean reinstallation several times in different paths)

Thank you

Hi vf
Post #74 Run Both SH5.exe And Ubisoft Game Launcher Application's As Administrator's

How to check which Windows version you have installed.
Go to > Start Icon
Select > Settings Icon
Click on > System
Click on > About
You will now see the Windows version number.
Windows 10 Creator is version 1703.
This version has caused a number of issues for Silent Hunter players.
Check out my SH5 and SH3 signatures for further information and fixes.

Hello,
I still have a problem.
I reinstalled everything (changing installation path), deleted voice registry, deleted the folder in Documents, using .exe in administrator mode.
I tried to activate all MOD (Twos 2.0.0 + twos 2.0.3 + Real navigation), I tried activate only Twos 2.0.0.
I have Windows 10 Enterprise version 1607.

Until the last version I've never had any problems with TWOS.

I arrive to menu of SH5, start the Campaign and at the end of loading I ctd.
Same thing if I try to load a single mission.
Unfortunately when I have the ctd I have no indication on the type of error / problem from Windows.

Thanks !!!!

Hi vf
In theory version 1607 should not produce problems for you.
The fact that you are now experiencing problems and not previously points to something that has changed possibly without your knowledge.

The game failing to load and causing a ctd points to a possible compatibility problem.
One option is to run windows 10 in Windows 7 compatibility mode.
Ticking the box to Override High DPI scaling is another option.
Check that your driver has not been updated to a 382.?? version.
Do you still have a SH5 folder in documents?

Can you run the stock game unmodded without getting a ctd?
Check the in game graphics options matches your systems native resolution.

Game updated to official v1.2.0 ?
Generic Patcher, activated properly?
I guess TWoS install instructions are clear enough? No improvisations there?

Solved !!! I do not know if this was the solution to the problem but I "cleaned" all the voice registry related to Silent Hunter 5 and reinstalled all again. :Kaleun_Cheers:

Thanks again to all
