Do not believe everything

Do not believe everything you read or hear and see for that matter

https://www.rt.com/viral/393965-anon...scover-aliens/

The day NASA does as mention in the article then I maybe will believe it until then I take the RT-news with a huge truck of salt.

The conspiracy lot for years said NASA has been covering all this up.

My thought was, when I saw the headlines, I'll post it on Subsim GT and let it be a non-serious discussion.

I'm sorry but I can't take this serious.

If the gov't can't sell us on the Russians being a danger again, I wouldn't doubt they'll try to sell us on these guys being meanies. :D Obviously you need a BIG reason to extract anything more from the people than is already being stolen. :03:

Jim said he would pay you £25 to take it seriously.

Haha. You right you weren't here.

Here is what I expect coming from NASA in the future

They have found life on one of these Exoplanet....not advanced aliens life, more like the life we see here among our animals. That is what I believe they will find on one or more of these exoplanet(s)

Like they say in the movies Markus, if there is no other life in the universe, then there is a lot of wasted space out there, lol

I see you are making fun of nasa, but ...

Nasa is going to have to get a much bigger telescope in order to see animals Markus ... Perhaps a space craft that takes years and years with a huge telescope, but that would be way beyond our life expectancy and our children's, children, children, children, children, children, children, etc ... Much easier to wait for them to come to us ... oh wait a flying horse comes to mind. :)

Have you seen the press conferences of the mapping of the cosmic microwave radiation? Or when the latest photos are downloaded from whatever probe they are playing with now?

These guys (and gals) are giddy as children on christmas morning. They just can't wait to tell the world about this really fascinating rock they just saw from Opportunity.

You really think these same scientists, who love to share EVERYTHING, would be able to keep ALIENS a secret for more than 5 minutes? Of course they'd do their due diligence to confirm, scientific method and all, but once they did confirm, there is now way these people would keep it secret.

These guys build bombs, strap people to them, and throw them high in the air because it's fun. They crash probes that cost tens of millions of dollars into asteroids because they're curious what the dust cloud looks like. They build sci-fi propulsion systems to see if they actually work, and then blabber to the world like schoolchildren when it does.

No.... there's no way NASA knows aliens exist.

Short of a signal detected by SETI, this (most very likely) won't happen in our lifetimes.

What we will probably see in our lifetimes is confirmation that the environment around an exoplanet must have complex organic life in it, as the atmosphere can only be explained by that.

I don't think it's possible (ever) to build a telescope with enough resolution to image individual wildlife on an exoplanet.

Most likely proof of exobiology will come from fossil evidence on Mars or Titan, or living samples from Titan, Encaldus, or Europa.

And of course, the infamous WOW! signal was recently solved. They figured out it came from a long period comet. Other comets of the same type give off almost the identical signal as they near the sun, and they figured out exactly which comet it came from. I'll find the link if I can, but I'm pretty sure it was on IFLS.

Who can say that there are no aliens out there? that's as wrong as trying to describe what they would look like if we come across one. We can't go by what Science Fiction writers think they look like, how do they know, lol But, since we haven't seen any yet but in the movies, wed don't know for sure they are out there either. Quite a puzzle to figure out.

To reach out into and cross this mind-absorbing empty black abyss means tools and abilities implying that if alien intelligent life would arrive on Earth we maybe would be as much capable to recognise it as such like an ant is able to recognise the human as a superior being that puts its foot on the rock right beside it.

What is out there, is just empty space. And when you look at the subatomic level, you again find only empty space. That leads to the interesting question of what we then can be ourselves.

Do not stare too long into the abyss, else the abyss sooner or later starts to stare back at you. Cosmology and astronomy I have come to find to be cathartic and horrifying at the same time.

Yep. Could not have said it any better myself. Humans are funny. Spies and evil people keep secrets. Scientists ....no, they like to share. :yep:
