Campaign question: SSBN search

Hello,
Mission is to Hunt down an Russian SSBN with escorts.

Will this group be marked as surface or sub group on the campaign map?
Where best to find them?

SSBN and SSGN are escorted by SS and/or SSN, so it's a sub group. Your orders should have said the area to locate the target (location named on the map, with GIUK gap meaning Greenland-Iceland-UK gap).
