How to lock target View in periscope?

Hi all, I am able to lock target and stay locked with space bar, but is it possible to lock the target view so that I stay looking at the target?
I am trying to ID the ship and finding it difficult.

"X" key or corresponding GUI command...
press F1 to see more key commands...
