U-Boat designation help
 

Hey guys! I just reinstalled WoS and am trying to relearn most of the basics so I'll most likely be asking about here in the near future. Anywho I keep getting radio messages and the messages say "To: U-##" and my boat's designation number isn't listed. I looked around but couldn't find any mention of this on the forums, can someone help me out?

Go to your SH5 install folder and then /data/applications, there'll be an tool called "OptionsFileEditorViewer".
open it and open the darkwraith file.
Find the tag "ship journal", you can edit your hull number and captain's name.

But I got all my saves corrupted while the numbers are updated.

Nah...Never had problems with this one, OFEV is great and it works just fine... :yep:

Started a new campaingn because of that:doh:

I don't see how could luck be a factor here:hmmm:...Manipulating TDW's Options file editor is simple and quite strait forward...
That's not necessary at all...
