Sinking by flooding instead by HP loss
I loved from NYGM the idea that a merchant or any ship can sink due to floodings (you don't need to reduce their hp to zero). Is there any mod that do this effect for vanilla SH3? I cannot find any.

I'm working on such a mod. The working process of flooding is a bit hard to understand, but I think I've understood it quite well after many many hours of tests. Now, I get very good results (far better than in NYGM !).
I've changed all zones' values, and added a few new zones : http://i.imgur.com/HmCMe7V.png But the work needs more tests, and I'm too busy in RL now. Moreover, the own ship's .zon files need adaptation. One day, I may release a complete "supermod". :Kaleun_Wink: |
If you want I can test it for you :ping: I also can wait, it's no problem - I'm not sure if it will be compatible with the mod list I'm finetuning since one month ago for light loading times / low PC specs.

Pretty sure it had flooding too.
Though to be honest why anybody would play stock is beyond me because the megamods patch bugs that patch 1.4 didn't. and damage from flooding is a feature in just about every megamod. |
I have to test it.
The reason about do not play megamods is that all megamod crash on my PC as soon as I load or start any game (6Gb RAM) and since I do not have a SSD Disk, all are pretty slow to load due to the big amount of skins and new ships. NYGM is the only one that do not crash, however it's still slow to load, and I want to play it in 1920 with Attack Disk - so I need Ahnenerbe, and other mods that doesn't seems to work with it.
