Where is my Biscay cross?

I'm in late 42. I am sure the cross is on my boat. I don't see it. Is there a mod to place the cross on my deck? Or is it just assumed it is there? I'm on a type 9c.

Looks like this :

Primitive radar antenna made out of wood strips with wire around the outside edges. Something like a kite.

Playing NYGM the cross usually shows up at the proper time. I do not remember having to upgrade the equipment on the Uboat screen. It's been a while since I had a career in late 42.

I know what it looks like, but I meant where is it in my game? It is not on the deck of my IX. Is there a button to bring it up like the radio antennae or periscope? do i need a mod?

In SH3 in the Career Menu, select the Uboat, and under Equipment look for Radar Warning select Fumb-1. That should do it.

bstanko6 03-24-17 05:52 PM

I did that. I have the cross. It is not on the boat when I play. Which is why I ask is there something like a button or a shift-"whatever" button to make it appear? Or do I need a mod to make it appear?

Here's a what it looks like. It resides on the port side.

Try the Funkmate icon and click on the radar button and see if shows up.

Tried that too. I did upgrade my tower before I got my fumb. May that did something to it.

What Type IX and turm are you using. I'll try and duplicate your issue. Every version of IX I have in late 42 has the cross.

I'm using NYGM. Type IXC. Type 3 tower.

I left for patrol on September 5th 1942

FUBAR295 03-24-17 10:55 PM

Biscay Cross is on my IXC with Turm 3. Patrol start day is 4AUG1942.

Not able to replicate the issue.

This is how SH3 Commander shows the Uboat set up:

You can see the cross listed. Do you have the same showing in SH3 Commander?

bstanko6 03-24-17 11:29 PM

Where is that file located in sh3c?

FUBAR295 03-25-17 08:32 AM

Go to SH3 Commander in your Documents folder where your careers are kept and follow SH3/ Data/ Config/ Player Settings.

Good Hunting,
