Issue with torpedoes shooting
I have recently had to reformat my computer, which led to reinstallation of SH3 and GWX. I have a couple other mods that I have used in the past installations as well (cant remember names). Anywho, I started up a new career in a TypIID the other night and while in periscope view, watching a merchant, I clicked the mouse to get out of the "view mode" and start inputting info. As soon as I clicked to unslave the mouse from the scope, torpedo 1 shot right out of the tube. After some messing around, I have found that when I unlock the mouse from scope view, the curser is on the "fire" button and launches a torpedo every time.
Never had this issue before now, any ideas? |
This rings a bell, vaguely. First, the names of the mods you have installed would be of great help.
Also, have a look at these threads http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=189092 http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=202688 |
Strangly, I had an issue like you once. I had a mod that if you hit cntl O in the command room, you could see the obs scope slide up into position.
I got rid of that mod, and it still did that. It might be the fact that all the write And rewriting of game files interfering with GUI over time. But that would stink if it is your torpedo button! I'm sure it is a mod file somewhere! Also a lot of mods do not work for the type 2. Good luck |
mod list as follows:
GWX-16km atmosphere GWX-Alternate Loadscreen-Full Circle GWX-Captain America's Officer Icons GWX-Enhanced damage effects GWX-Integrated orders GWX-Lite Harbor Traffic GWX-Main Movie GWX-Merged campaign GWX-Open Hatch mod GWX-VIIC41 player sub GWX-No medals on crew GWX-Late war sensors 02 Gauges V2 Convoy routes on map H.sie's pack includes the above o2 gauges and I also have SH3 Commander. Edit: I don't recall installing a widescreen mod, but I will try messing with resolution. That may very well be the issue. |
