AA big shell
 
Hi,

I would like to create an anti-aircrafts shell fired from battleships' main guns, as the Yamato or Tirpitz. These shells were named "Sanshiki" by the Japanese. The main task will be to create a visual effect like that :

Sadly, it seems impossible to create a particles generator with the same direction of the shell when this shell explodes in the sky ....

I've already tested a new AA shell fired by a main battery, and it works against aircrafts. But it is not very realistic, because the damages are in a sphere centered on the explosion, whereas I would like damages to be in a kind of cloud starting from the explosion.

Finally, I don't know if it is a good idea, the aircrafts diverting the main guns to shoot against ennemy ships ... :hmph:

... the Shells.* library shipped with the orginal SH3 contains AA version of ALL shells used ...

Yes, but not with the proper effect. And not loaded in the main guns ...
