starting scenario
 

I'm brand new. Trying to play one of the historical scenarios (the Bismark one). Can't find the ladder on the conning tower so I can descend and dive. Also, even if I find the ladder don't know how to descend. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Look at video 1 at around 11 minutes and 40 seconds and see how he is using the W-A-S-D keys.
