Ships from Soviet Waterway mod for Silent Hunter 3

With all respects to the community I'm glad to propose a pack of ships of excellent SOM Group from famous mod "Soviet Waterway" (SH4) which were converted for Silent Hunter 3:

Romanian Regele Ferdinand-class destroyers
Soviet Novik-class destroyers
Romania minelayer Amiral Murgescu
Soviet Fugas-class minesweepers

Thanks to Dagon, Vaa for original models of the ships and to Liliput, Vaa for TCM guns library.
Special thanks for Mariman (SOM Group) for kind permission to release the converted ships from Soviet Watermay mod for Silent Hunter 3 and to Poul for his kind help with contacts with the excellent SOM Group.

Thank you!

Awesome will these appear in campaing? or what to do to appear them

Stefan Thimme 12-11-16 12:48 PM

I replaced Romanian DD Type 1934 with DD Regele Ferdinand and Romanian DD V&W with NMS Amiral Murgescu in my campaign files.
Also I replaced Soviet DD SU1 with DD Novik_3.

After that the ships above appear in the game normally.
As for Figas-class minesweepers I put them in my campaign files mostly instead of Soviet DEBPS.

Pls be careful with types of the ships because they are different:

DD V&W (4) / Minzag_AM (12)
DEBPS (3) / MSMine (5)

The types of the ships also should be changed if necessary.

Hello,

is it possible that the models do not have the wake controller correctly placed / activated?

Cheers

I'll check. But let me ask You which ship has problems with wake?

Cool stuff, thank you for sharing Stephan :yeah:

BTW: where is the Soviet Waterway mod available from? :)

This mod is also known as the Battle for the Baltic. I found it in the section for SH4 mods:

Mr. Poul helped me contact Mr. Mariman from SOM Group and they kindly allowed me to release a few units which I had converted from SH4 to SH3. Now I'm waiting for their permission to release a few other units from this excellent mod.

Hello,

I checked the pictures you posted and NONE of the ships has the wake. There is only the bow wave and the propeller foam. The wake, i.e., the extention of the bow wave, is missing.

Cheers

They have ship wake. After Your kind notice I tested all these units again in order to be sure. Most probably it is absent in the pictures because I created screenshots too quickly until normal ship wake would appear.
