Port: Southern France Problem: When leaving port, the harbor pilot is stuck on Brest. Every time I start a mission, the harbor pilot is on Brest. How do I stop this from happening? Thanks |
Try to use real navigation, find your bearing and give instructions to your men. It's the best way to avoid bugged features.:Kaleun_Salute:

Hi Sandman
You do not state the port you are leaving or which campaign you are in. Is there a Harbor Pliot listed for the port you are in? Did you exit to the desk top before starting your new mission? Peter |

As of right now, all I can do is hit the (~) to "All Stop" and stop the Harbor Pilot. Then switch to the right one. |
Hi Sandman
I have had the harbor pilot ram me into the dock and also into the coastal boats that patrol the harbor on occassions. I have not touched anything to make this happen. Peter |

Just put in to La Pallice, resupplied, no mission as I have already met the requirments. Saved the game. Exited. I bet you a shinny new penny when I start the game up, the harbor pilot will still be set for Brest. |
Hi Sandman
The correct pilot must be selected by the users at the dock. If "Brest" is selected, click stop and clear it. Then choose the correct one. A pilot may be stuck in memory if it was used and not allowed to finish. So when leaving port, let it run to the end. If you want it to end manually, stop it and ensure it has cleared out of the automation window. TDW added a waypoint resume where you can take over from the pilot (iceberg ahead :D or that dam coastal boat), the pilot can then resume after you have taken action. It could be that this is causing your constant Brest issue:hmmm: |
