Stock campaign, mission 9, as MH-60. Help?
So, as the title, I'm playing the MH-60 in the campaign mission 9, South Korea. Supposed to rescue a bunch of personnel from several sites.
The mission brief says that: a) There'll be heli-pads where I'm supposed to pick people up b) They'll turn radar on to "track me" and (moreso) for me to figure out wher they are So I got to my first point, in Seoul, and I'm pretty sure I found my first pick-up point (there's some weird sign half-buried in the ground at that spot, where the ESM picked up a land radar) but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to pick up the people. I tried landing (by setting my alt. to zero), and that just crashed my chopper. I tried hovering very low, but nothing happened. Is this even completeable as the MH-60? I'm quite confused here. EDIT: note ... i do not get a "Land On" option on my EW contact, which is my only indication of where I'm supposed to go. Also, my EW contacts are not updating. I even went to 2000 ft, thinking they were being masked by hills, but still nothing. |
There isn't "land" option for helo outside nominal base (Ship deck, airport, some buildings like hospital).
In editor trigger can check only 3 things: - altitude - speed - location (circle of range) You probably play this stock mission with RA mod. In RA helo have 2 versions: - *user* - AI (vanila controlable helo) You should check trigger in editor. Page 2, secton "Object to complete trigger" If there is: MH-60R Seahawk AI try to change it for: MH-60R Seahawk *User* http://i.imgur.com/fenYFK0.jpg ...or you can send this mission here (as text file) and i will change this. RA mod is not compatibile with stock campaign. |
I'm playing it stock.
I ended up getting super frustrated, and turned on show truth to see where the gorram helipads were. they were not where i thought at all.:o |
