The intellectual yet idiot

Sweet read by a brilliant and very angry man.

I am so totally and completely sick and tired of this species that I turn outright aggressive immediately when they find me, since I just cannot stand them anymore, but they are all over the place today. Not only can you not avoid them - the consequences of what they are doing find you, and make you pay. And when they make you pay, they always pose in the most condescending, rightous manner.

Being uneducated and being stupid, are two very different things. I saw many uneducated people in my life who nevertheless were intelligent, sometimes very much so, and I also see many people who call a highly prestigious education their own - and still are as dumb and as dull as an empty banana skin.

Brexit, Trump and the growing hostility towards the EU, must be seen and can be explained in light of this text.

Lebanese Nichloas Taleb is a famous philosopher and writer, amongst other books author of "The Black Swan", which I know. I definitely recommend to read it. The text I linked above is an extract from "Skin in the Game".

Sort of like moving down south and being place in "their" school's gifted program? ...But is there anyone there qualified to run a gifted program? LMAO :D

...or being given an intelligence test and told you'd have probably scored even higher if you could have better understand the administrators heavy southern dialect.

My father-in-law always expressed this same view; before retirement he was a fish-farm manager and pioneered certain breeding processes which earned him great credits. He went from the bottom up in his career, starting as a lowly water-bailiff, and he was always irritated by the university educated types he came into contact with at work or at conferences, who he said nevertheless seemed to display not a scrap of common-sense.

No, I just don't have a high opinion of the education system K-12 in the south. I'm not super fond of Rednecks though. :03:

You better be glad our PC Police only get involved when people are racist against Muslims, blacks, and gays or you would be in big trouble, mister. :hmmm:

Oh wait, millions of Southerners are black, Muslim and gay.... :hmph:

Huh? Sorry, that's outside of my jurisdiction, you'll need to contact the PC Police for that area.

You never had to deal with California's public school system I take it.

The term redneck is a derogatory term chiefly used for a rural poor white person of the Southern United States.

No, I think if someone made a similar post about a "raghead" you would have parachuted right in.

Oh yeah, that's my jurisdiction, I don't handle rednecks, yeehawdists or cleetus, that's another department. You'll have to ring them. Besides, they're usually armed anyway so don't need protection from words. :salute:
