HoI 4
 

Haven't seen many posts on it since it came out, have read there are many problems with the AI. Anyone playing it much?

I'm a Paradox fan, and EU IV is my most played game of the past 3 years. I was really looking forward to HoI 4. But I didn't pull the trigger at release, waited for a few user reviews, and didn't like what I saw. As you mentioned there seems to be some AI issues. I still haven't pulled the trigger.

As a long time Paradox fan (HoI 3, CK 2, EU series, Pillars of Eternity) I've been rather disappointed by their past three releases, Stellaris, HoI 4 and Tyrrany.

Stellaris I played for almost 100 hours. Loved it at first, but it became stale. Tyrrany is great, but way too short. It's like they developed a great game and only then realized it needed way more content so they tacked on a second and third act that are very disappointing. This RPG could have been a classic.

I'd love to see that HoI 4 has been improved because I need a Christmas-break game. I follow it continually and hope to get it at some point.

All that said, I have a few friends that still love it and play it regularly.

it is too easy and simple. It's a good game to prepare your girlfriend for the more demanding paradox titles..
