Can't complete British Coastal Mission (nr. 1)
 

Hi,

I got the notirious problem of not being able to finish the first mission (British Coastal ...). I sunk way more than 50,000 tons in the designated areas, the progress bar on the map is full, but i don't get any notification and the iron cross is not awarded.

I already asked this at the UBIsoft forum and the reffered me here.

I found several old threats concerning this, but no one could could give an answer back then.

If anyone knows what to do, that would be awesome, but please don't just tell me to use mods. I'm already using some small ones, and i just want to play the normal campaign.

Unfortunately the stock game is bugged and broken even if you were to buy it today.
Campaign icons and the tonnage bar is broken and has been now for nearly 2 years.
You need to be using TDW's NewUi 7-4-2 or 7-5-0 mod so that you can use his Generic File Patcher which will remove a lot of bugs and glitches in the game.
You will find my tutorials useful regarding this and much more.

I downloaded the Generic Patcher and enabled all patches.
I started the game and when i opened the map ingame the it crashed.

I'm loosing hope, that this game is playable without getting a masters degree in altering it.

EDIT:
The crash occured due to an old savegame. I started a new campaign and it seems fine so far. I hope my original problem will be gone, i will see.

Exactly...If you don't want to mod your game and play stock, just forget about SH5...Go for a bit outdated but still very good SH3 or SH4 games, with latest official patches of course...

The Generic Patcher didn't help with the problem.

Of course it is... Check Subsim's SH5 modding section. You'll find plenty of mods/fixes there...

Thats exactly the problem. I just want to fix my problem. Which of the thousands of mods will help me?

Reminder: Mission is basicaly completed but SH won't acknowledge it.

- Generic Patcher used with all patches. Did not solve it.
