Queen offers to restore British Rule over U.S.

Quote:

The Queen urged Americans to write in her name on Election Day, after which the transition to British rule could begin “with a minimum of bother.”

Not sure really...I mean on one hand it would be nice to expand the empire...but on the other hand, that debt, that whole gun thing, the coming fracture between left and right political wings which seems set to tear the nation asunder...

Probably more trouble than it's worth...might be best to stick with Canada. It's colder but safer. :yep:

And there was me hoping the US would take over Australia!!

Just what we need to unite the country and finish driving the Lobsterbacks off of our continent.

Simple truth is I doubt either country could afford to keep one another.

I heard that for the price of the new F-35 fighters, the US could have bought Australia. The continent. (No joke)
(2,443 jets, appx. 317590 Millions, or ~317.59 billions. This is alot, if you think about financing energy, research, veterans, studies and homeless. Or healthcare.

P.S: and you can keep your sugar-water-Lipton-ice-"tea", thank you.
I'd prefer real indian tea anytime, it does not need the detour over England :O:

Hey, unlike you Euros. We here in the United States have our very own honest to goodness tea plantation thank you very much. Instead of Earl Gray we call it Governor Gray on this side of the pond and its some of the finest. "neener neener" :O:

I believe you tried that on at least two occasions via Canada but matters didn't go to plan all that much :):03:

No they certainly didn't! We wasted good troops and critical assets in ill conceived expansionist invasions that were contrary to the self defensive reasons we held for fighting those wars.

Nobody ever expects Canada... :hmmm:

Well you can try to grow your own tea and vine, maybe on the south slopes of the Highlands – if Scotland lets you after a Brexit Mk.II :D
