BBC Licence their joking.
5th of November I have no broadband Iv cancelled it. 18 years ago I gave my telly away. At the time I thought it was a waste of money and still do. So this September the government said anyone with a pc, laptop, or iplayer need a licence because they can watch live tv. Well the corrupt and lying bbc can kiss my ass. The screws are tightening here every month the last few years. Im ashamed to even tell anyone were Im from. Its a good job my dad ( he died 12 years ago) and all the others who died fighting to keep a free world doesn't know what its like now. This isnt a political rant just stating what I see happening. Just a few things to get off my chest. Its sickening.

I thought that you folks could have a TV and as long as you didn't hook it up to cable or antenna you didn't have to buy a license.

That's correct August, and what the BBC is doing is that you will need an account to watch iplayer which will be linked to your TV licence so that you have to have a TV licence to watch iplayer.

Their very kind to the blind (sarcasm) The bbc will give a 50% reduction on the price of their license. 50% off a licence because I suppose they cant see it only listen to it. They should be battered for this. This my friends is the bbc who reported the 9/11 tragedy 20 minutes before it happened. Anything done about it? NO. Also the pedos who are in and were in the bbc, anything sorted about that? NO, Well done the bbc. Come knocking at my door, ringing me up, or countless threatening letters again. waste some of the millions you have taken off people I don't mind.

This will be the UK's version of US gun control. Very hard to enforce no matter how many laws get passed. Maybe SHADOW can help.

Mum would love it if Ed Straker came round to check the telly.

The TV Licensing Authority seem to have grown tired of writing to me (we don't watch TV). They really seem to have difficulty in understanding that some of us just do not want to watch TV at all.
I'm thinking of writing pestering letters to them now, asking that they please send this inspector bloke that they always threaten us with round to our house... but please let us know when he's coming so we can bake him a cake :har: |
Even worse than the BS we have to put up with our national TV (RTV).
They only way you get off of paying for it is that you don't own a TV set in your house, but you have to invite the inspectors to check that you don't have a TV. As soon as I move, I'm selling the TV and notifying RTV they can send one of their abortion survivors for a visit. They won't see a cent from me. |
I could be remembering wrong
Some years ago the Swedish government introduced a "computer license" because the government said that those who own a computer could also see SVT on this equipment. Some years later the High court overruled this law-saying that a computer wasn't build to watch tv like a TV itself. Swedish license office had to repay about 70 million back to those who owned a computer(can remember exact wording) Markus |

I threw my TV around 10 years ago, the TV is a waste of time.

I never realised things were so much worse in Longhope when compared to the rest of the country.
I may be in a minority here but I reckon the tv licence is good value for money. Give me the BBC News anytime rather than the likes of Fox for starters. |

I have a TV and only watch the freeview channels, stopped watching the BBC years ago. If I have to go to court I will have my day sticking it the Bloated Bias Crap. |
